With a passion for meat and slow cooked Southern dishes Rub serves an #EpicExperience!
We take our meat very seriously at Rub which is why we source all our meat from Sykes House Farm near Wetherby North Yorkshire where their farming ethics are second to none.
We then cook our meat in our smokers 'Hank & Marvin' overnight, marinated first with our secret 'Rub' blend of spices. The Brisket & Pork Shoulder is cooked low n slow for around 16 hours.
It is this care and attention that delivours such great flavour.
And we aren't know for scrimping on our portion size, with dishes including our #HUNGDRAWNANDQUARTERED which includes buffalo wings, full rack of ribs, pulled pork, brisket, a whole rub free range chicken, 4 corn dogs, 4 sliders and sides this amazing meat taster platter may require a doggy bag!
After the amazing success of the Nottingham Rub & Rub Birmingham, Rub on the Tyne is now open at The Gate!
