Gate customers help Tanzanian schools!

Read International is a student-led charity based at Universities across the UK. They raise funds to enable them to collect 22,500 high quality used text books from UK secondary schools and send them to schools in Tanzania where they can benefit local children.
Read International's Newcastle Project Leader, Becky Jones was delighted with the response from The Gate's customers. She said: "We raised £519.37 on one day and then £326.58 on the next, which really helped us move towards our Christmas target of £3000. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and we really couldn't believe how generous people were being! Thank you for giving us a venue!
